Smrithi is a charitable trust formed by 11th batch MBBS students of Medical College Thrissur. We are completing our two years of service in feb 2018.
So far we have given financial assistance (up to ₹1.5 lakh) to 20 surgeries mostly renal transplantations and a few other emergency surgeries.
The amount will be handed over directly to the patient on or just before the surgery but not to the bank account of any local people.
Deserving candidates are selected by strict scrutiny from the requests we obtain. We try our best to ensure that the money is not misused.
Priority will be given to cases recommended by urologists, nephrologists and other doctors too.
So we request all the doctors to refer the cases if found genuine for a financial assistance (Upto ₹1.5 lakh)
